PUBLISHING YOUR SITE USING DREAMWEAVER

Using Dream Weaver can be a good way to write, design and test your web pages. Dreamweaver does most of the tedious work of connecting, getting most recent file updates, performing edits, uploading changes, etc. Here is how to get started.
Open Dreamweaver.On the far right, click on "Manage Sites"
In the new window that pops up, click on "NEW", and select FTP & RDS Server.
When prompted, enter a name for your connection - anything is ok. In the next few boxes, enter your web server, your username, and your password. Make sure that the access type is set to FTP and that you have left the Host Directory box blank. Also do not check any of the other boxes unless you are behind a firewall that requires it. At this time we do not support SFTP.
Click on "Test" to test the connection status. If the test is not succesfull, please verify the settings you entered with the information above. For further assitance with any encountered issues, please contact technical support.
